better late than never
At long last, my clapotis is blocked. It was my first blocking experience and now I want to block everything. I'm glad the clapotis expedition is over, I have to say, and I hope the person I give it to really enjoys it. Here's the pre-blocking pic:
Thanks, Edna! it's Mountain Colors Twizzle in Berry... I went into detail on that in one of my previous posts if you want more info. It really is pretty but mostly I love the texture. It's a dream to knit with.
that's just beautiful! and you are right, blocking made a big difference. i just ironed mine, and that seemed enough, but maybe i will rethink that, now that i have seen yours. that drape! and the color is just dreamy!
Thanks, jackie! I am glad I blocked it - it really looks beautiful... it's neater and it's wider so you can really wrap yourself up in it. But I do miss the lovely rows of bumps made by the dropped stitches on the purl side. They are so cool - I love the purl side pics of Abandonada's yellow clapotis!
