all wound up and ready to go!

my yarn is all wound up, and now i am paranoid that i am going to run out. i'm also nervous about using this hand-painted stuff. i know i need to keep two balls of it going at once, but i am not sure how to pull that off without making the edges all wonky. any advice on that?

in other training news, i finally printed the pattern, and i have some swatch knitting on the agenda for the evening ahead. now i just have to find somewhere to actually watch the opening ceremonies on friday since i have no television reception to speak of!
