Pics of my Clapotis yarn
Okay, so here are 2 pictures of my mystery rayon weaving yarn ... the label on the inside of the cone says "8/2 rayon slub" ... I used to know what that meant, but my weaving knowledge seems to have vanished. ;)

love all these earthy colors! is it soft?
oh, and if my textile memory serves me correctly from my designer days, the 8/2 means size 8 yarn and 2-ply.
It is quite soft, with a little bit of an "edge" - kinda like rough (or raw) silk, if you've ever felt yarn like that. Its quite lovely.
