Mohair Clapotis- Did I really think this through?

You know how mohair is hard to frog? Well, it's also hard to drop stitches. It's not that bad, but I have to follow the dropping stitches down the ladder verrrry carefully, with a pair of scissors to trim the little halo hairs that were so happy as part of a knit stitch.

Once I get this done, it'll be stunning, but that's hoping I don't slip and slice off half the scarf.

Right there with you on the Brooks Farm mohair hell. I had to frog at least 6 rows (long story, too much merlot last night) and it was awful. I'm dreading the stitch dropping!

Yeah, I'm right there with you on the merlot too- that's what happened to me on Friday. I frogged two rows and it turned out the only problem was a misplaced stitch marker.

Once you get the hang of it, the dropping's not that bad, but I would make sure that you do it in a quiet location with few distractions. Based on your profile, that might be hard! My fingers are crossed for you!

May you have a steady hand as you wield the scissors. :-)
