Sprint into the final lap...
For the weekend anyway! Like Jill said... Monday will mean a slowdown of progress. Anyway, here's my progress. The picture is not great. The purples and other subtle variations are washing out. I'll take my next progress pick in the daylight. Hope everyone had a productive weekend :) Go Team Clapotis!!

omg, if THAT's a not great picture, then i can't wait to see a great one! and man, but you are knitting this thing like the wind, susan! it's looking absolutely gorgeous--i love how it's striping! impressed. but you know--you are going to have to make three of these by the 26th for this to be a challenge for you! :)
I really do expect the progress to slow way down now that I have to go to work during the day :( although I do tend to be a speedy knitter. I also expected the switch from markers to purl and then the mirrored twisting to slow me down more than it has. I have had more than a few people request one of these so maybe I can manage another one if the planets align properly ;)
Did you switch to the "purl, mirrored twist" method after you started with the regular way? Did it make much of a difference if that's what you did?
Chris
Your clapotis a work of art!
I learneed about the purl trick near the end of my first Clapotis so I tried it on that one. I really liked that I didn't have to fuss with all those markers ;) I discovered the mirrored twist while getting ready for this one but didn't swatch it... I like the pictures in the examples and went with it!
Thanks Abandonada :)
